Charl Vogel is the Head of Commercial and Industrial Printing, Southern Africa Region, for Ricoh South Africa.  He joined the company in January 2015 from Xerox, where he was the National Sales Manager for Production Print.  With over 20 years’ of experience across B2C and B2B, Charl has had a range of professional and life experiences that gives him an unique perspective on business and business management.  From leading small & large sales teams, to key positions within a corporate entity, he is a leading team player in whom people come to rely on.  He has a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion, a great eye for detail and eager to learn.  A precise, systematic thinker, he uses established methods and procedures with a high level of detail and accuracy to achieve desired outcomes whilst still challenging the status quo. His key responsibilities at Ricoh SA is to provide leadership and direction for the Commercial & Industrial Print strategy and requirements for hardware, software and services across the Direct and Indirect Channels. Charl also has accountability for delivering agreed strategy, products and services and to ensure the following; that the strategic category and product positioning in the market segments, accounts and the channels are aligned with Europe’s strategic direction. Also to ensure customer centric approach from all perspectives of our business.

Geoffrey Mabote

Geoffrey Mabote is the Head of Sales Direct at Ricoh South Africa and is responsible for sales activities.

An experienced executive who joined Ricoh SA in 2017, Geoffrey brings with him an extensive portfolio which boasts 30 years of managerial and leadership positions. Having worked in various companies, such as; Airports Company of South Africa, Woolworths, Sun International – Sun City, The Ellerines Group – Geen & Richards, Mc Donald’s and The South Africa Post Office – Geoffrey has been instrumental with the turnaround strategies and profit-driven processes in each one of these well known organisations.

Mabote’s exuding passion for people, go hand-in-hand with his belief, that results can only be achieved through people. Geoffrey, a trailblazer who takes his challenges head-on, is excited to be a part of the Ricoh Team and is confident in positioning the business as a preferred MPS, DMS and software solutions business for Corporate, Parastatal, Government and related departments.

Teresa Badenhorst

Teresa Badenhorst, HR director of Ricoh SA, has nearly two decades of experience at the helm of employee operations for some of South Africa’s premiere IT organisations. Badenhorst joined Ricoh SA in her current position in April 2016.

She is responsible for supporting the organisation’s strategic goals through employee-led operational excellence focused on customer centricity.

HR is a strategic partner to the business enabling organisational change and effectiveness. It ensures highly competent and engaged talent to achieve Ricoh’s strategic goals through a culture of excellence and innovation that places customers first and foremost.

Badenhorst builds on Ricoh’s strong people-first ethos that incorporates diversity in the workforce that helps the organisation innovate advanced solutions. Teresa was formerly HR director of Altech Autopage where she led the team for nearly five years. Prior to that she was HR director at Nashua Mobile, having joined from Gijima AST Group following nine years of grounding experience in her role.

She believes reputation is perception based on what employees say and how they act, the same for customers, and the media. Delivering on the brand promise is one of the most effective means to improve reputation. For her the differentiator in today’s though economy are: people, their competence and their behaviour.

Jurgen de Jongh

Jurgen is the Head of Pre-Sales at Ricoh South Africa, responsible for all sales and pre-sales of the solutions portfolio at Ricoh South Africa. Jurgen has 10 years Solution selling experience in the office automation industry both in the direct and indirect channels.

Jurgen joined Ricoh in 2014, from Nashua, where he held three positions at the business; area manager of Software Solutions, Solutions sales manager, and regional business executive of Software.
De Jongh’s extensive experience in business process optimisation assists businesses to improve efficiency and reduce cost by delivering content, document and print management solutions to streamline their business processes.

Vaughan Patterson

Vaughan Patterson is Product Marketing Operations Manager for Production Print at Ricoh SA. He joined the company in 2012 from Antalis where he was Manager of Digital Printing Systems for more than four years. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry as end user, distributor and vendor. His key responsibilities at Ricoh SA are to grow the company’s presence and market share in the production printing category and assist customers with experience in data analytics, workflow automation, automated documents, marketing, and integration of legacy print with new technologies for seamless, Web-to-print workflows.

David Hallas

David Hallas is Director of Indirect Channel Operations at Ricoh SA where he leads the expansion strategy that takes Ricoh SA into sub-Saharan Africa. He is also responsible for 24 business partners and operations and activities in 11 countries in Southern Africa.
Hallas believes that Ricoh’s strong international R&D capabilities and facilities, manufacturing presses and policies, and globally competitive supply chain system, make the company a favourable contender in the emerging African economy. He joined the business in 2014 to take the helm of Indirect Operations left vacant by Jacques van Wyk. 
He was previously acting Managing Director of Nashua Limited and has been active in the document management and imaging industry since 1991 during which times he has occupied various product, marketing and sales positions.

Jacques van Wyk

Jacques van Wyk has been with Ricoh South Africa for more than 10 years.
Appointed as CEO in April 2018 he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company.

In September 2014 he was appointed COO of Ricoh SA where he has played a crucial role for Ricoh to become a services-led organisation and leading Ricoh’s operational relationships with its clients and customers. He was formerly Executive General Manager of Ricoh SA’s Direct and Indirect Channel Operations where he led Ricoh’s relationships with its clients and customers in both operations and maintained strategic focus on indirect channel alignment, development and expansion.

Van Wyk joined Ricoh SA in 2008 as the Executive General Manager of Indirect Operations for five years and eight months during which time he was responsible for winning Ricoh South Africa’s Best Contribution to IT Distribution Channel Development 2013 and the Sales Director Award – Ricoh Best manager for 2010 and 2011. He has more than 22 years of experience in the document management and imaging industry that extends back to 1993.
